If bundling a virtual appliance fails, it should recover from the error

I guess this is not an easy task. When you try to bundle images, and it fails because you don't have permissions, or space in the shared filesystem, the application reports the error and the bundle stops, but the status of the system is not correct:

1) The application informs that the virtual appliance is stopped, but the virtual machines are green.
2) The virtual machines in the hypervisor are stopped.

In order to recover from this state:
1) The status of the virtual appliance should be changed to 'stopped' only if all the machines are stopped.
2) The status of the virtual machines should be changed when their remote changes happens.
